Welsh Stillwater Lifesaving Championships 2025
Location: Wales National Pool, Swansea
Date : Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 January 2025
Age Groups:
Youth 13 (born in 2012)
Youth U15 (born in 2010/2011)
Youth U17 (born in 2008/2009)
Senior (born in 2009 or earlier)
Masters 30+ (in 5 year age bands)
The following individual events will be contested:
50m Manikin Carry (13, 15,17, Open & Masters age groups)
100m Manikin Carry with fins (13, 15,17, Open & Masters age groups)
100m Manikin Tow with Fins (13, 15,17, Open & Masters age groups)
100m Rescue Medley (15, 17, Open & Masters age groups)
Super Lifesaver (17 and Open only)
Those born is 2008 & 2009 are permitted to enter both the Youth 17 age group race and also the same race in the Open category.
The following pairs/relays events are also to be contested
4 x 25 Manikin Relay (13,15, 17, Open & Masters age groups)
Rope Rescue (13, 15, 17, Open & Masters age groups)
4 x 50m Medley Relay (13, 15, 17, Open & Masters age groups)
Entry Restrictions
Unlimited entry to all individual events except:
50m Manikin Carry ~ where only 4 female and 4 male competitors per club per age category may be entered.
100m Rescue Medley ~ where only 4 female and 4 male competitors per club per age category may be entered.
Super Life Saver events, ~ where only 4 female and 4 male competitors per club per age group may be entered.
Rope Rescue PAIRS ~ where only 4 pairs per female and 4 pairs per male competitors per age group may be entered.
In the event we have more entries then allowed, then the relevant coach will decide who will contest which events. Any entries fees paid will be refunded if you are not able to compete in the event due to the restrictions
