Gyllyngvase SLSC are delighted to invite competitors and clubs to Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth for a one day SLS competition of individual ocean events and a team taplin on Saturday 4 September 2021.
Registration: 08:00
Briefing: 08:30 (first race starts after briefing)
Event categories will be as follows:
Junior (M/F): competitors born in 2008
Youth (M/F): competitors born in 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004
Open (M/F): competitors born in 2003 and earlier
The draft format will be:
Saturday AM: Heats (seeded): Swim, Board and Ski*
Saturday PM: Finals: Swim, Board, Ski, Iron** and Taplin
* this event will not be run for the junior category.
** this event will be a swim/board for the junior category. For those competitors born in 2007 only who do not enter the individual ski race you will automatically be included in the swim/board event and not the Youth Iron race.
The number of finals and number of competitors per final will be determined once entries have been received. It is our intention that everyone will participate in a final.
Entry Fee: £10 per competitor
Entry closes: 1 September 2021 at 12:00 (noon)
Prizes will be awarded at the end of the event!
