SLS Cornwall Youth Championship
Individual Age Groups
Minimum Age for the youth events is 12 years of age as at 31st December last year, and Maximum age is 18 years as at 31st December this year.
• Youth 13/14: will reach the age of 13 or 14 in the year of competition
• Youth 15/16: will reach the age of 15 or 16 in the year of competition.
• Youth 17/18: will reach the age of 17 or 18 in the year of competition
Pair and Team Age Groups
In all pair and team events a competitor can compete up 1 age group but can only compete in 1 pair and 1 team per event.
The following events will be contested at this year's Youth Championship
INDIVIDUAL EVENTS
13/14yrs male / female - 1km run, Flags, Sprint, Board, Surf Race, Ocean Boy/Girl (no ski)
15/16yrs male / female - 1km run, Flags, Sprint, Board, Ski, Surf, Ocean Boy/Girl
17/18yrs male / female - 1km run, Flags, Sprint, Board, Ski, Surf, Ocean Boy/Girl
TEAM EVENTS
13/14yr beach relay male/female - Maximum 2 team per club 2male/2female
15/16yr beach relay male/female - Maximum 2 team per club 2male/2female
17/18yr beach relay male/female - Maximum 2 team per club 2male/2female
13/14 board relay male/female
15/16yr board relay male/female
17/18yr board relay male/female
13/14yr Taplin male/female (No Ski)
